Orthoceras

Orthocerus was an ancient Mollusk that lived more than 400 million years ago. The name means straight horn , which refers to its long straight conical shell that is all that remains of the creature.

It is the ancestor of the modern day Squid. These Orthocerus  are found in  Middle Ordovician-aged marine limestones of the Baltic States and Sweden.
