Kaokoveld has produced the occasional nice Dioptase specimen, but it's not very common. Interesting how Namibia seems to be the leading producer of fine Dioptase, and this is again one of them. Nicely set on Calcite for contrast this specimen hosts several groups of large (for the species) undamaged crystals. A very well trimmed specimen of an impressive size.
The largest Dioptase crystal is 26mm - pretty impressive size for the find and the species actually!
